Rod Woodson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. Woodson holds the NFL record for fumble recoveries (32) by a defensive player, and interceptions returned for touchdown (12), and was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1993. His 71 career interceptions is the third-most in NFL history. This jersey has been photo-matched to a game in which he broke a then-NFL record with his 10th INT return for a touchdown. It occurred on Dec. 2, 2001, versus the Indianapolis Colts at home. With 1:34 remaining in a tight 32-27 battle with Indy, Woodson picked off Colts' QB Peyton Manning and ran 47 yards into the endzone to cement a 39-27 victory for the Ravens. The jersey has also been photo-matched to a Dec. 16, 2001 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This jersey has been custom hemmed above the manufacturers tagging. In the rear neck is a strip tag reading “01-46”. On the right inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the v-neck is the official “NFL” shield logo. Below this reads “RAVENS” embroidered in white. Across the front, back and on both shoulders is the player number “26” in white on gold on black tackle twill. Across the back on a purple nameplate is the player name “WOODSON” in white tackle twill. Beneath the player numbers on the shoulders is a Reebok logo and Ravens team logo. Woodson signed the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscriptions “2001 Season” and “HOF 09” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA, a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10 and a Woodson LOA.
