Dale Earnhardt Sr. has been inducted into numerous Halls of Fame, including the NASCAR Hall of Fame inaugural class in 2010. Regarded as the most significant driver in NASCAR history, Earnhardt was taken from the sport he loved too early. Many believe Earnhardt was destined to win that eighth championship in 2001 before that fatal three-car crash on the final lap of the race. Still, his body of work includes seven titles and 76 Cup wins. Earnhardt also collected 21 Busch Series (now Nationwide Series) wins in just 136 starts. Offered is Earnhardt Sr.’s photo-matched fire suit from his victory in 1993 at Talladega. Earnhardt led the race for a total of 59 laps to capture the win. The white suit has been custom made for Earnhardt and is sans a manufacturer's tag. Black trim runs down the sides of the legs and arms and numerous sponsorship logos are scattered throughout the front of the suit. The zipper is intact and fully functional. Earnhardt signed on the front of the suit in silver marker and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 9. This relic from NASCARs biggest superstar has remained in outstanding condition. This fire suit was originally headed to Planet Hollywood as a display. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA, a Full LOA from JSA, photos of Earnhardt signing the fire suit and an additional letter detailing how the suit came in possession.
