Any wall is turned into a basketball Hall of Fame with the addition of these meticulously-crafted set of statuettes honoring the top 50 all-time NBA players. Many pieces have been created to celebrate the cream of the NBA crop since 1946, including a less-than-100 lithograph edition, but
we believe these 40" x 40" hand-made, one of a kind metal statuettes, each with its own plastic case, is by fat the best, and the most provocative. The unforgettable images of legends like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Earl Monroe and Walt Frazier, and those reviving the distant glory of men like Paul Arizin, Bob Pettit and Bill Sharman, have been
captured beautifully in the vivid colors of their uniforms and their determined faces by the noted sports artist Bob Mantez. There are 13 5 ½" statuettes of players in a shooting pose, and all 50
players have a ball in their hand. The case, which has 2 doors, opening to the left and right, and all of the statuettes are in excellent to near mint condition. There is a 2 ½" x 1" plate on the base of each statuette, and 36 of the 50 players signed their plates including Russell, Kareem, Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Oscar "Big O" Roberston, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Pete Maravich, Magic Johnson and George Gervin, who signed his name "Iceman #44, HOF 96." The signatures all rate at least a 9. Complete lists of signed and unsigned players will be faxed upon request.
