The legend of Lew Alcindor was made on the east and west coasts, but the legend of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was born in Milwaukee, where the manchild became a man and where Kareem proved he could dominate the pros as he had the playground and the college game. In his rookie season of 1969-70, he averaged 28.8 points and 14.5 rebounds per game and was named Rookie of the Year. The following season, he owned the league, winning MVP honors and his first NBA title. Kareem averaged 30-plus points in four of his six seasons with the Bucks and was MVP again in ‘72 and ‘74. Though he moved on to the Lakers in 1975, Milwaukee saw the genesis of the game's all-time leading scorer and arguably its greatest player. On the left tail of the Bucks home mesh jersey are three labels. In descending order they are the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label, the "Milwaukee Sporting Goods-Sand Knit" label, and the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "44." Across the front is the name "Bucks" and on the back us the name "Abdul-Jabbar." The player number "33" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. LL the letters and numbers are red on green vinyl. The jersey shows very good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
