Hall Of Famer Larry “Chipper” Jones spent his entire 19-year career with the Atlanta Braves. Jones finished in the top 10 for MVP six times and won the award in 1999. Offered is a Spring Training jersey from before Chipper’s rookie regular season campaign and possibly his first ever issued MLB jersey. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “44”. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. Across the chest reads “Braves” in script style writing with the team’s Tomahawk logo below and on back is the player number “64”. These are done in red on white tackle twill. Across the back on a navy blue nameplate is the player name “L. JONES” a rare early variation of Jones jerseys done in white tackle twill which represents his first name. On the right sleeve is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
