First ballot Hall of Famer Steve Carlton won two World Series, was a four-time National League Cy Young Award winner, has his No. 32 retired by the Phillies franchise and earned the pitching Triple Crown in 1972. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Below is a strip tag that reads “73 Set 1 46” embroidered in navy blue chain stitching. In the rear collar is an additional strip tag that reads player name “Carlton” in script style writing embroidered. On the left chest of the zippered jersey is the official Phillies “P” team logo. On the right chest is player number “32”. Across the back on a blue nameplate reads player name “CARLTON” and below is player number “32”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white tackle twill. The name on back has been restored. Carlton signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey an 8 and a Full LOA from JSA.
