Nicknamed "Mr. Cub", Ernie Banks was the most popular Chicago Cub in franchise history. He led the league in home runs and RBI's twice while winning two MVP awards in 1958 and 1959. He was elected to 11 All-Star games and voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977. American Baseball Cap manufactured helmet. On the inside of the shell the size tag is partially unreadable. On the front of the helmet is the Cubs team logo with the player number “14” handwritten inside it. The helmet shows heavy game use with a crack on the bill, scuffing throughout and deterioration to the inside padding.
