This baseball was used on Sept. 18th, 1998 during a game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers. The Cardinals won the game 5-2 with the help of Mark McGwire’s 64th home run of the season. McGwire sent a 2-run blast to deep left center field in the 4th inning off of Brewers pitcher Rafael Roque en route to his historic 70 home run season. Rawlings manufactured ONL Coleman game-used baseball single-signed by Mark McGwire. McGwire signed on the sweet spot in blue ink with the added inscription "98" and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. Handwritten on the south panel is "9-18-98 #64". Game-use of the ball is evident with scuffing and dirt staining throughout. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
