Hal Greer played a major role on a team that is widely considered the best basketball team of all time, the 1966-67 Philadelphia 76ers. This squad who included NBA greats Wilt Chamberlain and Billy Cunningham won an NBA Championship in 1967. For the 1966-67 season, Greer finished with 22.1 points per game, second on his team to Chamberlains 24.1. On the inside lower left is the "Wilson" label and adjacent is the "Large" label. Across the front of the jersey is the name "East". The player number "5" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of red tackle twill. There are three blue stars on the front of the shirt. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
