The Boston Red Sox won the 2013 World Series over the St. Louis Cardinals in 6 games. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with an MLB hologram serial number “EK860236”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “31 52 ‘13”. On the left inseam are two flag tags reading “+1” Sleeve” and one with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the left sleeve is a Red Sox team logo above a “Majestic” logo embroidered. On the right sleeve is the official “2013 World Series Fall Classic” patch and beneath is a black armband honoring the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013. Across the chest reads “BOSTON” and on the back is the player number “31”. Across the back is the player name “LESTER”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue tackle twill. On the back collar is an official “MLB” logo patch. The MLB database dates this jersey to game 3 of the 2013 World Series, however Lester did not pitch or enter into this game. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
