Fans were always amazed by not only the number of points that Earl "The Pearl" Monroe scored, but how he went about scoring them. Monroe was a dazzling ball handler who was purely amazing to watch play one on one. In 1973 Monroe reached a climax in his sparkling career by winning the NBA Championship with the New York Knicks. On the left front tail is the size tag "42" with the "Sand Knit" exclusive label adjacent to it. The "Cosby" label is next to this on the back. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Knicks" and on the back is the name "Monroe". The player number "15" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of red on blue tackle twill. It comes with a letter from a Knicks ball-boy describing the provenance of the shirt and a magazine with a photo of the ball-boy. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
