On the inside front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. Across the front reads “Cardinals” in red and navy blue chain-stitch embroidery. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “5”. Across the back is the player name “PUJOLS” on a white nameplate. All are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “DK 57” memorial patch embroidered in black and white commemorating Cardinals pitcher Darryl Kile who passed away at age 33 of an apparent heart attack in his hotel room before a June 22, 2002 game against the rival Cubs. Adjacent below is the Rawlings “R” embroidered in red. On the right sleeve is a “JFB” memorial patch also embroidered in black and white commemorating Cardinals long-time broadcaster Jack Francis Buck. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in red, white and navy blue. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
