Dick Williams was enshrined into the baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. Inside the rear collar is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. On the left front tail is a strip tag with “80 1” embroidered. On the left chest is the team logo patch done in red on white on blue tackle twill with “expos” below done in blue tackle twill. On the right chest is manager’s number “23” done in red tackle twill. On back is the manager’s number “23” in navy blue on white tackle twill along with manager’s name “WILLIAMS” done in the same tackle twill. The Expos repurposed jerseys for the following year’s Spring Training and would cover up original names on back with a plate that simply read “EXPOS”. This jersey was worn by Williams in 1980 and is all original but the subsequent nameplate added for Spring Training has been removed. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and shows use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a 9+.
