After a legendary college career at LSU where he set the NCAA record for career scoring average with 44.2 ppg, Pete Maravich had a productive ten year NBA career. Maravich electrified the NBA crowds with dazzling play and spectacular showmanship. In 1988, "Pistol Pete" tragically died of a heart attack doing what he did best, playing basketball. On the inside back tail is the "Champion" label with the size, "X-Large". Across the front of the jersey is the name "Jazz". The player number "7" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. The letters and numbers are green and have been ironed-on. On the other side of the jersey the letters and numbers are white and have also been ironed on. The jersey comes with an additional letter of authenticity from one of Maravich's pallbearers. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
