Jerry West combined a deadly jump shot with tenacious defense to become one of the greatest guards in NBA history. West was an All-Star in every year of his career and led the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals on nine occasions, leaving the game with records for career postseason scoring and the highest average in a playoff series. West wore this cotton knit jersey during the 1970-71 season. On the front tail of the jersey is the name "Lakers" in purple on white tackle twill. The player name "West" is on the back of the jersey, also in purple on white tackle twill. The player number "44" on both the front and back of the jersey and is made of white on purple tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It has been signed by West on one of the back numbers and the black Sharpie autograph rates an 8.
