Gary Payton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. Known as one of the best defensive point guards, Payton earned the nickname, “The Glove”. Nike manufactured size “13” black and dark grey shoes with a green trim. The player name “PAYTON” is embroidered in green on the outsides and the player number “20” is embroidered on the outside ankles in green and white. The tongue of the right shoe reads “THE” and the tongue of the left shoe reads “GLOVE”. Payton signed the outsides of both shoes in black marker and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8.5 despite the background contrast. Sourced from an NBA ball boy.
