The 1999 season was the finale of Steve Young's 15-year Hall of Fame career, during which the erstwhile Brigham Young star emerged as the all-time leading NFL career leader in completion percentage (64.3) and passing rating (96.8). A two-time league MVP and seven-time Pro Bowl selection, Young's high-water mark was throwing for a record six TD passes in Super Bowl XXIX. Young racked up 33,124 yards and 232 TDs (and only 197 interceptions) and also rushed for 4,239 yards, second all-time among QBs. Young wore this San Francisco 49ers maroon mesh home jersey during his last season. At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch and on the left front tail is the "Adidas Pro Line" label, Below this is the year tag "99" in maroon Swiss embroidered stitch and next to this is the size tag "44." On the back is a maroon mesh nameplate with the name "Young" in white on black tackle twill. The player number "8" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder in white on mustard/black tackle twill. There is an autograph on the back number in black marker, with the signature rating a solid 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
