After winning the Super Bowl in 1969, the Jets didn't play competitive football again until the 1980s, when two of the team's key players were kicker Pat Leahy and receiver Al Toon. Leahy, who played 18 seasons with the Jets, holds the club record for points (1,470) and longest field goal (55 yards). Toon caught 486 passes over nine seasons, second only to Don Maynard in team history. On the left front tail of the Leahy jersey is the "Champion" label with the size "L." On the back of the jersey is a green nameplate with the name "Leahy." The player number "5" appears on the front, back, and on each sleeve. The letters and numbers are white and have been ironed-on. The Toon jersey is identical in all respects except for the name "Toon" and the player number "88." In addition, the crotch piece is intact. Both jerseys show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
