This pair of pieces come from football great Rocky Bleier and serve as a testament to perseverance. Known for being part of four Super Bowl Championship teams with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bleier's career was nearly ended after his rookie season as a result of injuries suffered while serving in the Vietnam War in 1969. First, is a Bulova swivel clock, encased in a 7x7" square wood box, standing 7" tall with a glass lid. The clock is still in working order (battery not included), and the plate on the box reads, "Rocky Bleier CHAIRMAN Courage to Come Back Campaign. Next is a size “11” ring, with black stone surrounded by "the Courage to Come Back,". The inside is stamped, "MA Bloomfield Jewelry 10k," and the initials R.B. are engraved on the opposite side. Superb mementos from a legend who proved his courage both on and off the field.
