The sleek Monk spent 14 seasons with the Washington Redskins, catching a record 106 passes one year and breaking Steve Largent's all-time reception mark of 819, a mark since equaled by Jerry Rice. He played for the Jets in 1994 and made more history by catching a pass in his 178th consecutive game. Monk made 940 receptions for 12,721 yards and 68 TDs in his career. At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch and on the upper left front is the "NFL 75" anniversary patch. On the inside lower left is the "2" Extra Body Length" label. On the back of the jersey is a green mesh nameplate with the name "Monk." The player number "81" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The letters and number are white on black and have been ironed-on. The bottom of the jersey has been custom-cut. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
