The Houston Oilers are now the Tennessee Titans, but anyone who watched Campbell's slash-and-burn runs across the carpet of the Astrodome won't forget one of the most punishing fullbacks ever seen in football. After winning the Heisman Trophy at Texas, Campbell was the NFL's top draft pick in ‘78. In his first two seasons he captured the rushing title, was voted AFC MVP, and carried the Oilers to the conference finals. But an over-reliance on Campbell's legs wore him down and cut short his Hall of Fame career that ended in 1985 with a total of 9,607 yards rushing, 10th on the all-time list. This eye-catching light-blue, snap-front Oilers sideline jacket was worn by Campbell in the late ‘70s and shows wear. It has the "Wilson" and size-46 label in the neck, and "34" is hand-written just underneath. The words "Houston Oilers" and the design of a football are stitched in across the back in large white capital letters with a red border, under which Campbell signed his name in black marker along with "#34, H.O.F. 1991, 9,407 yds, 4.3 yd avg., 74 T.D." The signature rates a solid 9. The jacket has no alterations of any kind and comes with a letter of authenticity from its owner and photos of Campbell signing it.
