Joe Theismann achieved his most enduring fame in his 12 seasons with the Washington Redskins, where he was a two-time Pro Bowler and quarterback of the winning team in Super Bowl XVII. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003. On the left front tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and jersey size “40”. Attached is a flag tag reading “100% NYLON FOR CARE SEE REVERSE”. On the front, back and on both sleeves is player number “7” painted on in red numbers with a yellow border. The player name “THEISMANN” appears on the back in heat transferred red block numbers on a white nameplate. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
