Roger Lawson was a powerful running back from Western Michigan University who played his last season with the Chicago Bears in 1973. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "46". On the back of the jersey is a white nameplate with the name "Lawson" in blue tackle twill. The player number "36" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the shirt. The numbers are blue and have been ironed-on. There is an outline of the numbers on the underside of the sleeve which came through when the numbers were originally ironed-on. There is a repair mark on the left sleeve. The jersey shows game use and with the exception of the repair mark, appears to have no alterations of any kind.
