1118. 1985 Walter Payton Chicago Bears Game-Used Road Jersey
"You can measure a man's character by the size of his heart" is a perfect statement for one of the all time great football players, Walter Payton. Although Payton was not the biggest or strongest player on the field, his heart was as big and strong as any man who has ever stepped on the grid iron and his accomplishments reflect that. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "44". On the back of the jersey is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Payton". The player number "34" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. On the left sleeve are the initials "GSH". All the letters and numbers are blue on orange and have been ironed-on. There are a few repair marks on the front and back of the shirt. There is an autograph with the notation "Sweetness" on the back numbers in silver marker and it rates a 5. The jersey shows game use and with the exception of the repair marks, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
