This bat was sourced from McGwire through Reggie Jackson’s manager. Manufacturer: Rawlings/Adirondack Model Number: 256B Labeling Period: 1988 Length: 34.5 inches Weight: 34.3 ounces Wood: Ash Finish: None. The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of light use. Black ink transfers can be seen on the barrel. The player number “25” is handwritten on the knob and top barrel. McGwire signed the front barrel with the added inscription “To Walt, a great friend 2/11/88 A.L. Rookie Of The Year 87” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Accompanied by a PSA\DNA LOA grading the bat a GU 8, an ALOA from JSA and a copy of an LOA from ReggieJackson.com president Walter Harris.
