A first ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 2003, Eddie Murray won the 1977 American League Rookie of the Year award and ended his career with 504 home runs and 3255 hits. ABC manufactured helmet with the Indians logo on the front. On the back are the player number “33” decals, an “ABC” decal, and an official MLB logo decal. Inside the shell is an ABC manufacturer’s tag size “7 5-8” and the size “5-8” is also handwritten in white marker. Stamped onto the inside padding is “Purchased from Cleveland Indians”. The date clock inside the shell shows the helmet was manufactured in December of 1993. There are multiple scuff marks and baseball related use throughout the outside shell of the helmet. Murray signed the bill of the helmet in silver marker with the added inscription “3255” and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
