Marcus Allen was a super star running back at the University of Southern California and joined the Raiders in 1982 without missing a step. Through out his career with the Raiders and later with the Kansas City Chiefs he never slowed down. Marcus will be a member of Footballs Hall Of Fame on the first ballot. This 13 piece, game worn ensenble would outfit a long ago gladiator, which Marcus surely is. The Riddell, Power Athletic Equipment shoulder pad, with its cushions, plates and pads looks like it would stop a bullet. It has been autographed as has all the items in this lot, with the exception of the jersey. The autograph has bee smeared and is not rateable. All other autographs rate between 6 and 9. The black mesh, mid 1980's jersey with name on back, shows great game wear. The pants show game wear, have the Los Angeles Raider Sand Knit label and size 34 label and a white XL tag. In the waistband is written, 1986, 32 game and has been signed with the #32. There are two game used Puma turf shoes that are marked on the strap, Puma Marcus. These shoes show a ton of game wear. There is a well worn glove, wristband, chin strap, forearm protector, two elbow pads and two thigh pads, one customized to protect against injuries. The wear on these pieces vary from good to heavy.
