What would a man of leisure wear in 1953? If that man were a football player like Baltimore Colts guard Ed Sharkey, he'd likely be found wearing this snappy, light brown, three-pocket, thigh-length beauty of a leisure jacket with a nifty Colt logo on the left breast pocket depicting a colt bucking over a goal post. Sharkey, like the other Colt players, were gifted with the jacket by the team, which was still in its infancy. This wonderful echo of bygone football and fashion has a "Marlboro" label in the neck with the size tag "48XL" and was clearly designed for a very big man. Carefully preserved, its pleats are still sharp and the overall condition of the jacket is excellent.
