Bob Hendley lost a 1-hitter against Sandy Koufax who pitched a perfect game and it is the only time it has happened. "Sweet" Lou Johnson recorded the one hit and also scored the only run for Koufax to win. Rawlings manufactured OAL Brown baseball multi-signed by Sandy Koufax, Lou Johnson and Bob Hendley. The signatures are done in blue ink with Koufax adding the inscription “9/9/65” and Johnson signed as “Sweet” Lou Johnson and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8.5 with the Koufax being the strongest. Minor toning is present but does not affect the signatures. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
