Dan Doll played defensive back for three teams during his 6 year pro career (1949-54). In 1949, he averaged 25 yards per return on his eleven interceptions. He was a member of the 1952 Lions Championship team which included Bobby Layne, Doak Walker and Leon Hart. In his final year, he played with Hall of Famers Norm Van Brocklin and "Crazy Legs" Hirsch in Los Angeles. This Los Angeles Rams home blue durene jersey was worn by Dan Doll during the 1954 season. On the left front tail is the "Sand Knit" label and adjacent is the size tag "44". The player number "27" appears on both the front and back of the jersey in gold tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
