With the first pick of the 1999 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns selected quarterback Tim Couch from the University of Kentucky to lead their team to a successful future. In the neck of the jersey is a white label reading "00-50" denoting the year and size, respectively. Next to this is a white label with the letter "Q" denoting "Quarterback". At the base of the "V" neck is the "NFL" patch. On the back of the jersey is a brown nameplate with the name "Couch". The player number "2" appears on the front, back and on each shoulder of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of white tackle twill. The sleeves and bottom have been custom-cut and hemmed. The jersey shows game use and with the exception of the custom-cut sleeves and bottom, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
