William Penn Gregory Jr. was born in Galveston Texas and played football in the NFL for 10 years, 7 years as a Dallas Cowboy and 3 years as a Seattle Seahawk. He played in three Super Bowls, winning in 1972. He missed only two games at the defensive tackle position, a tribute to his dedication and good fortune. This Dallas Cowboys Home Dureen Game-Used Jersey was worn by Bill Gregory during the mid `70s. In the neck of the jersey is the "Southland" label. On the back of the shirt is a white nameplate with the name "Gregory". There has been a nameplate change. The player number "77" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of blue tackle twill. We were told by our client that the jersey comes from an impeccable source. With exception of the nameplate change, the jersey appears to have no alterations of any kind.
