Elvin Hayes' famous turn-around jumper helped him thrive for 16 NBA seasons. The much honored Hayes made the All-NBA First Team and Second Team three times each and played in 123 consecutive NBA All-Star Games from 1969-1980. Upon his retirement as a player, Hayes was among the NBA's all-time leaders in many statistical categories, including scoring, games played, minutes and rebounds. In the neck of the jacket is the "Wilson" label with the size "48" and below is a patch with "4" XL" written in blue magic marker. The tag denotes four extra inches in body length. On the left front tail is the name "Bullets" in white tackle twill and on the upper right front is the player number "11" in white on red tackle twill. In the waistband of the pants is the "Wilson" label and size "38" and below is a label reading "1" Rise 39 ins." written in blue magic marker. Below this is a blue label with "79 11" in white chain stitch denoting the year and player number respectively. Along with the jacket and pants are shorts from the 1980 season. Below the waistband is the "Wilson" label with the size "38" and below this is a white label reading "80 11" in blue chain stitch. The numbers denote the year and player number respectively. There are three blue tackle twill stars going down each side of the shorts on both the front and back. The jacket, pants and shorts show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
