The 1962-63 season produced the Boston Celtics' fifth straight NBA title. This was the last season in Celtic green for Bob Cousy and the first for John Havlicek, a smooth transition that would keep the team on top for the next three seasons. The one huge constant was Bill Russell, who won 3 straight MVP awards. Years later, the members of that team signed this Official NBA Stern ball, with Red Auerbach and Bill Russell on one panel and two signatures each on the other panels. Signatures include Cousy, Havlicek, Sam Jones, K.C. Jones, Tom Heinsohn, Frank Ramsey, Satch Sanders and Gene Guarilia. Signatures are in black marker and rate between 7s and 9s. The ball is in near mint condition.
