Long-time New York Yankee fans will find bittersweet memories in these Yankee yearbooks from 1965 and 1973. Both yearbooks carry signatures of players from those seasons, including a dozen signatures on the cover of the 1965 yearbook touting a team of aging superstars like Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Roger Maris and Elston Howard. Signatures include Howard, Tony Kubek, Bill Stafford, Steve Hamilton, Al Downing, Hector Lopez, Jake Gibbs, Frank Crosetti, etc., rating 6s and 7s. The 1972 yearbook (the final season before George Steinbrenner became owner) has 16 signatures on the inside page profiles, including manager Ralph Houk, Thurman Munson, Dick Howser, Bobby Murcer, Mel Stottlemyre, Roy White, and the immortal Horace Clarke and Ron Bloomberg. Signatures are 8s and 9s. The yearbooks themselves are in good condition with the cover of the 1972 book partially loose.
