This 11" x 13-1/2" framed cabinet card depicts nine players and the manager of the 1902 Crescent team that apparently played in the new American Association, which revived the name but not the big-league status of AA that operated from 1882 to 1892. Photographic images of the players in uniform are arrayed around a head shot of manager M.H. Tappan. At the bottom of the sepia-toned print, it reads "Crescent Baseball Team, Season 1902." The piece is in very good condition and mounted against a black background in an antique black frame.
