Before making a name for himself with the now famed Chicago "Black Sox", and before receiving his famous nickname, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson played baseball in the early 1900's for the "Victor Team." This is a framed photo from July of 1907 of that team featuring "Joe Jackson." Nine players are in uniform with two other members of the team also in the photo. Each player is standing facing the camera with all but one wearing a glove on his hand. Jackson is on the far left without a glove. So perhaps before being known as "Shoeless Joe" he was "Gloveless Joe". The photo is in VG-EX condition.
