Fatima Turkish Cigarettes featured some of the most memorable ad campaigns of the first half of the 20th Century, and even distributed a line of baseball team cards in 1913. Fatima ads often centered on movie stars such as "Sherlock Holmes" star Basil Rathbone offering testimonials, but this rare original artwork for one ad strikes a simple, self-explanatory note. The circular-shaped, 9-1/2" diameter image has "Fatima" across the top, a pair of hands taking a cigarette out of a pack, and the words "Thank You" set against a brown background. The item has barely visible damage in the center and is preserved under glass in a black frame.
