The House Of David baseball team was founded in 1903 and was a very famous team in the early days of baseball. This rare 15" by 23" promotional poster is in excellent condition and features early House of David pitching star Bill Hardin. Featured on this poster along with Hardin is Hall of Fame pitcher "Chief" Bender. Bender, who was the Philadelphia A's World Series pitching hero in 1911, was the starting pitcher against the House of David in the game the poster advertises.
