Future Hall of Famer LeBron James won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2003-04 season by averaging 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. On the front left tail is the Reebok manufacturer’s tag with three hanging flag tags attached that read the year, “2003-2004” the size, “50 2LB”, and “PLAY DRY”. On the left inseam are two hanging flag tags that read “MADE IN U.S.A.” along with the size and washing instructions and “Produced by UFCW Union Labor”. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. On the v-neck is the Cavaliers “C” logo patch. Across the chest reads “CLEVELAND” and below is the player number “23”. On the back below the collar is the Cavaliers “C” team logo patch. Across the back reads player name “JAMES” and below is the player number “23”. All numbering and lettering is done in white on gold tackle twill. James signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Beneath the signature is an Upper Deck hologram serial number “SHO24385” however the accompanying letter has been lost over time. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
