The 1986 Celtics cruised into the NBA Finals. In the three series leading to the Finals, the Celtics lost just one game to the Atlanta Hawks, sweeping both the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks on their way to face the Houston Rockets. A 17-point blowout in Game 6 secured their 16th NBA Championship. Offered is Celtics equipment manager Wayne Lebeaux’s ring commemorating the Championship. This size “8.75”, 14k gold ring weighs 36 grams. The top panel reads “BOSTON CELTICS WORLD CHAMPIONS” surrounding a green enameled shamrock logo and a diamond encrusted Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. A round-cut diamond sits at the top. The right panel reads “LEBEAUX” in relief above a casted image of the Celtics leprechaun logo, “16 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS” and another banner that reads “PRIDE”. The left panel reads “1986” and features a laurelled and green enameled NBA logo. The inside of the ring is stamped “LGB 14K”. Also included is the original wooden presentation box. NM condition overall. The ring is accompanied by a LOA from Wayne Lebeaux.
