The Penn vs. Cornell rivalry is the fifth-most played in college football. The game was played in Philadelphia for 69 consecutive meetings from 1894 through 1963 before alternating between Philadelphia and Ithaca. This game-used trophy football from November 27th, 1902 between the teams featured a slugfest with Penn winning the game 12-11. The panel beneath the laces reads “PENN. - 12 CORNELL - 11 NOV. 27TH 1902”. One of the laces is missing and minor scratches and expected cracking are present however the football remains in beautiful vintage condition considering its age. The football has been filled to hold its shape and weighs more than a traditional football. A true timepiece of one of college football’s oldest rivalries.
