Joe Torre became a Hall of Famer in 2014, is a four-time World Series champion and has his No. 6 retired by the New York Yankees franchise. Torre won his 1,000th game as a manager on May 7th, 2006 in this jersey against the Texas Rangers. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with two attached flag tags reading “2006” and “48”. On this tag is a MLB hologram serial number “BB024272” and a Steiner hologram. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the manager number “6”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo. Torre signed the front of the jersey in blue marker with the added inscription “1000th Yankee Win 5-7-06” and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by two Photo-Match.com LOA’s, one grading the jersey a perfect 10 and one confirming the match as well as a Steiner LOA and a Full PSA/DNA for the autograph.
