Hall of Famer Leo Durocher was a coach under fellow Hall of Famer Walt Alston, who was the manager for the World Champion 1963 Dodgers. Inside the front left tail is a tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1963”. Embroidered on the front left tail is “Durocher 63 Set 1 42 2” in blue chain stitching. Across the chest reads “Dodgers” in script and on the back is the coach’s number “2”. These are both done in blue felt. The number “2” also appears on the front in red felt. Inside the front waistband of the pants is the Spalding manufacturer’s tag with an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1963” and a tag with washing instructions. Inside the rear waistband is a felt strip tag reading “Durocher 34 2 2Ins”. Also included is a McAuliffe manufactured undershirt and belt for the pants. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and shows use. Accompanied by a Durocher family LOA as well as an SGC Dave Grob).
