Tragedy struck the baseball community on September 25, 2016, when Marlins ace Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident. One of the brightest young talents in baseball, Fernandez was named to two All-Star teams in his sadly abbreviated career. Had he continued on the path he was on, a spot in Cooperstown surely awaited him.On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “50”. On the left inseam is a flag tag reading “100% POLYESTER” with washing instructions. On the right button path is an orange strip tag reading “16 50 ‘14 338” embroidered in black. On the left sleeve is a Marlins “M” team logo patch and below is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “MARLINS” done in Marlins team colors. On the back collar is the official “MLB” logo patch. Across the back reads the player name “FERNANDEZ” in black on silver tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Below is the player number “16” done in black on blue on silver tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
