This lot contains 140 New York Mets original wire photographs from the early years of the franchise between 1962-80. All the photos are black & white and range from 7" x 9" to 8" x 10". On the back of each wire photo is a typed or hand-written description. The photos include numerous 1969 World Series action photos along with many others. All your favorite ballplayers are captured in this tremendous collection of wire photos. Included are: Tom Seaver, Gil Hodges, Cleon Jones, Gary Gentry, Jerry Grote, Donn Clendennon, Tug Mcgraw, Ron Swoboda, Bud Harrelson, Dave Kingman, Mike Scott, Jerry Koosman, Tommie Agee, Yogi Berra, Lee Mazzili, Mike Vail, Rusty Staub, Joe Torre, etc. Most of the photos are in generally excellent condition and are a must for the "true" Met fan.
