On the inside front middle tail is the Mcauliffe manufacturer’s tag with a “1972” year tag above and a size “44” tag below. Adjacent to the right is a tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “RED SOX” and on the back is the player number “43”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
