Wade Boggs was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 on the first ballot. Inside the rear sweatband is the New Era manufacturer’s tag with an additional tag reading the size “7 ¼”. Boggs signed underneath the brim in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. Also handwritten underneath the brim is the player number “12” in black marker. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used attributed to Wade Boggs and shows use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
