In one of the worst trades in Cubs History, Lou Brock was sent to the St. Louis Cardinals in a six man deal. Arriving in St.Louis in June of 1964, Brock hit .350 during the Cardinals stretch drive and helped the Cardinals beat the New York Yankees in the World Series. Brock shattered Maury Wills single-season stolen bases record of 104 when he stole 118 in 1974. Brock was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1985.
