First ballot Hall of Famer Derek Jeter received 99.7% of the voting. Drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 1992 amateur draft, “The Captain” of the historic franchise spent his entire career with the Yankees. Jeter won 5 World Series as well as 5 Gold Gloves to go with other career accolades. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag with washing instructions and a “Steiner” hologram however the letter has been lost over time. Attached is a strip tag reading the year “2002” and two flag tags reading “48 100% POLYESTER” and “+2” EXTRA LENGTH”. On the left chest is the iconic interlocking “NY” Yankees logo and on back is the player number “2”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue tackle twill. On the back collar is the official “MLB” logo. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use with baseball related staining.
